or tell me if I'm acting like a total twat.
Ben and I are going out of town on Sunday until Tuesday morning with another couple we are friends with to see a Twins game and hang around the Cities. Until an hour ago we had planned to board Lucy, until Ben found out the hotel we're staying at is "pet friendly."
He thinks we should bring Lucy, and our friends have a puppy too (Zooey), so he says we could both bring our puppies and not have to board them. I'm like WHAT. Spend several hours in a car with two dogs and leave them in the hotel in their kennels while we go out to dinner, go meet friends, go to the baseball game, go do whatever? NO. I think Lucy and Zooey would be happier at their boarding/daycare places where people are paid to take care of them and they can be with other dogs rather than being cooped up in a car for hours and then a hotel room for days.
Am I right?
Ben's like "then we wouldn't have to pay to board them" and I am trying to convince him that maybe the pet friendly rooms are more expensive... I dunno. Anything to not have to bring these dogs. I just don't want to have to always have this "I have to go to the hotel to let out the dogs" thing over my head the whole time.
