I guess this isn't really an opinion, but I don't get why murders, kidnappings, heinous crimes, etc, shock anyone.  Of course I think they're awful, but none of that crap even shocks me anymore.  I'm well aware what people are capable of and while it's sad and disgusting, it's far from shocking to me.

I hate jersey shore/real world/real housewives and all other "reality" tv shows. I'm a closet intervention watcher though so pot::kettle

Putting shoes on dogs is stupid and so is putting one in a stroller for a walk, the point of the walk is to exercise the dog and for them to relieve themselves

We put booties on our dog's feet during the winter because she had fur tufts between her "toes" that snow and salt and ice would ball up on and hurt her.  Just saying.

I think that as long as my children eat, I am doing pretty good.

I used to STRESS about cooking something healthy every single day and I would be beat down by the end of the day and could never catch up. A lady asked me one day "Do your kids eat everyday?" I said yeah but sometimes it is a hot dog and fries. She said "Job done." I felt so much better and when they do eat fast foods, I don't feel as bad.

Max is getting 'em this winter (winter booties). His paw pads are too frigging deep and he was miserable as a puppy with the trillion pounds of snow and ice he'd get caught in there. If Maggie had lived, she would've had them too, for the same reason. But not for dress-up.

I don't think there's anything wrong with a dog sleeping on the bed. Maggie hated the waterbed, so she had a dog bed on the floor right beside the bed, but once Max slept through the night in his crate, we started letting him sleep on the bed (unless he's being a rat). He's a nice heater now that it's getting cold at night. Sometimes he's at the foot, sometimes between with his head on my shoulder or nose in my neck.

I always get flak for letting my dog sleep on my bed. People keep telling me that its bad for my dog and he won't know boundaries and he needs a separate place just for him to sleep. Well you know what? My dog can sleep wherever he wants, it's not like I'm locking him in or anything and I like snuggling with my puppy especially when FI is working the over night shift.

totally agree.  We had a groom's cake.  At the rehearsal dinner, which in our families is called the Groom's Dinner.  I don't understand having it at the reception.

I would definitely be heartbroken, but I would want to know why and try and fix it. If he was carrying on a lengthy affair I don't know how I would react. In the end, I would probably leave but I just can't see myself up and going the second I heard the news.
