Well Spencer was the girl who noticed Alison went missing. But I don't know, there's been so many possible killers. Atleast to me.

Alison's brother seems like a douche.

Ian is Melissa's ex who Spencer kissed when Alison was still alive. Right?

I can't see any of the girls having done it. Her brother creeps me out and I semi suspect him.

Melissa is Spencer's older and bitchy sister.

Her brother is one of my suspects as well. Trying to light a fire under the detective's and using Spencer as a scape goat. IMO the writers of the show have done a good job at keeping the suspense as to who the killer actually is.

I think it was her uber creepy brother. I'm also going to guess her brother was adopted and secretly in love with her or something equally as creepy.

I made Rich watch it with me last night, and paused it to tell him the whole story (according to the books) and I think he was beyond lost. Let's just say, everything you think you know....well, it's wrong.

Yeah, they've been pushing Jenna since the beginning it seems like. It very well could be Alison's brother framing them, apparently Alison told him all of the secrets.

Hannah possibly killed Alison? I still kinda like Spencer being behind that if I had to choose one of the girls. OH! However, what about Mona, who was Hannah's shadow in the beginning of the show? They haven't shown much of her and she was an outcast until Alison died.

I'm just gunna go out on a limb and say I think the casting for the show (as well as all other "high school" shows) is really poor---I was noticing that Miya has really pronounced laugh lines, so I googled her character to find out that the actress is 31---and was on Dawson's Creek. All of the main 4 girls are in their 20's---the actress that plays Ali in the flashbacks is the only one that's actually a teenager.

Yup, the girl who plays Ali is 14! Isn't that crazy?
T loves the show (cute girls, enough said) and was shocked by their ages (he googled them :P).

The books are great; they are real cliffhangers. I read all 8 of them in 5 days because I just wanted to know the answer. They literally wait until the last few chapters of the last book to pull it all together; it's amazing.

I noticed that too about Maya! I knew I have seen her before quite a few years back so I googled her as well. She might look young for her age, but come on, I'm sure they could've found another actress who was younger and possibly better. Young twenty somethings playing teens, I can possibly see, not 31 year olds.

The books are awesome!  I started reading them back in the summer of 08, when I think 5 were out, and then I had to wait 6 months between the next three!  It was torture waiting for them, I just wanted to know what happens.  

I just can't get into the series.  They don't seem to follow the books that closely and then I get annoyed.

There's quite a bit of difference between the books and the show, and that makes it hard to follow---but the books also provide a lot of detail, so I suggest reading them if you can! 

Roxy--I really just want to tell you the backstory---telling Rich didn't satisfy me enough!!

Shows/movies hardly compare the their books, books usually being better. I haven't read the series but it wouldn't surprise me that the show is different. I may start the first book after this season, so I can keep up my Pretty Little Liars fix. :-)

I have to say I am so happy I stumbled on this thread. I don't know anyone who watches the show so it's nice to discuss it!
