Another stupid question but I'll ask it anyways.

On the party invite, do I specifically need to say "kids are welcome" or will that just be implied since it's a house party?

Also one of my friends asked if she could bring her dog. I told her no (and she was fine with it) but it got me wondering if I need to put "please don't bring animals" on the bottom of the invite.

The things I worry about at 12:35am...

Hahaha, I think you don't need to put "kids are welcome", I'd just spread that by word of mouth. Plus, I think people who know you probably know you love kids?

I'd say no, to the "no pets" thing. I would think most people know thats a no.

I would say no to both.
If I am going to a family member's for an extended period of time, I will ask whether or not it is cool to bring Shy. I never expect for her to be invited.

I thought the no pets would be logical, people are craaazy sometimes. Yes I know your dog is your baby, but your dog is the size of my cat and therefore a delicious appetizer for my dog aggressive Whompus.

Katie! I think making spreading the word via mouth on both is ok. Just make sure when you send out the invites (evite, mail, whatever) you address it to Families. Like, Tide's Family! And Sco's Family! People will get the point it's a family event.
