Snarky Brides

TY question.

We had some gifts that several families went in on together.  For those, we obviously wrote a separate TY note to each family.

But we had one gift, a GC, that a dating couple got together.  They don't TECHNICALLY live together, but she is essentially staying with him for the summer.  Can I just write them one TY and send to his address, where she is pretty much staying, or should I stick with one for each?

Re: TY question.

  • Yeah I'd just send the one card to the both of them.

  • Ok, that's what I figured, because if it were me, and I were staying with H for the summer (pre-being married or actually living together, of course), and we got two separate TY cards, I'd feel bad that they went to the extra effort.  But I know that strict etiquette says they should probably get separate ones.

  • I have to add, because I think it's awesome, that it's a COLDSTONE gift card.  I'm so freakin' excited to use it, haha.  It's one of our favorite gifts, which I think is hilarious.

  • Well, now I just want some Coldstone :)

  • Coldstone = Marble Slab Creamery in Canada. It is AWESOME.

  • One for the two of them should work since they are a couple.

  • I think one thank you would be fine. FI and I gave a gift together at a couples shower, and we only got one thank you card. We don't live together either, but I didn't think anything of it.
