    Even better; Fletcher is closer to I-40.  It's also straight shot down highway 74 from the Charlotte airport, so hopefully you won't get too lost!  You will drive through Shelby, the home of livermush.

    Honestly, I don't think I'll get lost driving but who knows. How long of a drive is it from Charlotte to fletcher/ asheville?

    I think it's an hour and a half-ish.  The airport is on the western end of town, so you won't even have to drive through the worst of Charlotte traffic.  It will be mostly country the whole way.
