That's just sick. My mother and I have real issues with a niece who insists on kissing all babies a little to overzealous on the mouth.

Hell if someone kissed my son's penis when he was young I would have a fit, and he defiantly would not be alone with them. To bad he didn't pee on her!

Changing baby boy diapers is quite an experience. It's a duck and cover kind of thing.

I was kind of thinking more in the mouth, maybe make her think twice about doing it again. This woman obviously has some issues. And DH needs to grow some balls, regardless of his past with her, or maybe even more so because of it.

There are deeper issues than just the MIL's present actions, if you read the whole thread it sounds like the H was touched as well, and can only bring it up when he's drunk. The wife doesn't even know the whole story which is disturbing to me. Like his repressed emotions are now getting in the way of his son's safety. Not cool. 

Okay I'm done judging. No one knows the whole story, not even the wife!

What would you guys do?  Almost everyone in that thread is saying call the cops, but I don't know that I could.  I would definitely never let her be alone with him or even change his diaper with me present, but getting your MIL arrested and on the registered sex offenders list is probably going to put some strain on the marriage, no?

Seriously that woman has some really bizarre issues - but reddy is right, none of us know the whole story, not even the wife.

I just hope things get straightened out and that the child is safe.

DH and MIL have a strained and negative relationship, so I may be biased but I'm pretty sure there is no way I'd let someone who thinks that is okay around a child again.  It would put more of a strain on my relationship with my BILs.

I would be totally upfront about the fact that I never wanted that woman near my kid again and that I wanted to file/call the cops - essentially though the final step to do that would be up to him (as it is his mom), and if he chose not to then I would respect his wishes. If we didnt file though, I still wouldnt back down on her NOT being alone with my kids ever again. EVER. And I would be quite clear with her as to why and what I thought of her.

I agree with Nebb, I would never allow my child alone with her ever again. It's already hinted at (or is it fact? I didn't read the entire thread) that the two sons were molested, so why on earth should the mother trust the MIL at all? I don't even know that I'd let my MIL hold my son after that, and she sure as hell would know I thought she was disgusting and needed psychological help if she were to ever even be near my kid again.

But that's all I'll say on this issue. I get really worked up over this kind of stuff so it's better that I don't get into it.

Yeah, no grandma time for creepy MIL, and counselling for husband right away.  Oh my god.

That is insane, I'd punch my own mom in the face if I had a kid and saw her do that.  Is the guy an only child or could there be chances for creepy g'ma to do this to other kids?  That would be the deciding factor for me on calling the cops; you could always keep her away from your own kid but if she's a danger to others someone needs to take action to protect them.

That is just terrifying. I would be having a very serious conversation with her about why she is no longer allowed to be alone with DS and how inappropriate her behavior was. If she ever wished to see her grandson again, with the exception of family dinners where she would not be allowed to have physical contact, she would attend counseling first and go through a several year long probationary period.

Thebump scares me so so much...then again the things I've been reading on thenest "sex and romance" boards also just make me gag and wonder about humanity.

Wow. I always wonder what's going on inside people's heads like that. I would have been shocked seeing that happen.  Makes you wonder how many other's she's done it to besides her own son (if she's ever babysat kids, etc.).
