Denise's boyfriend Lannie lost his phone last night, turns out, it was in my car.  When I returned it to her this afternoon, she was wearing that very ring she was accused of stealing.

Yeah, they made a mistake.  *whew*

I asked her if she was going to press charges and she isn't sure that she will.  She hasn't had a chance to talk to her dad (she's a little younger than I am, just turned 22).  But if it were me, yeah, I totally wouldn't let them get away with it.  They held her in there for three hours and she says they had nothing on the security cameras.  Nice, huh!

That happened to my poor brother. He wouldn't steal an ink pen with a company logo and he was held up for about an hour. JCPenny doesn't like long haired hippie people. Be aware.

What idiots. 

One of these stores is going to do that to someone with money for legal fees for a nice, long, going on for years lawsuit who does not really care about the money, per se just making a big, nasty point. That person will not settle. They will get much publicity because that type knows how to do it. I cannot even say I will feel sorry for the retailer that eventually happens to because their idiocy will have earned it for them.

Let's see, involuntary detention, wrongful accusation, personal distress, ohhh yes the bad me wants that case
