Good grief, Bret Michaels

Story: Bret Michaels' tour buses get pulled over rolling through the county north of me. The cops find pot and other hard drugs in the tour buses.

I certainly hope he realizes he's been given two free passes from death, and that tempting the fates by doing drugs is stupid. Third time's a charm.

Who's saying he's the one taking them? There's a bunch of people who are on and off of those buses all the time. Roadies, groupies, etc.

Also, drugs and rock and roll go together like, well, drugs and rock and roll.

I hope he's not using them. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt, because I was in love with him when I was young, and I want to think he's not that stupid.

Well, to be fair, the harder drugs were not on his bus, and the pot on his bus might not have been his, since they made no arrests.

Doesn't mean it wasn't, but he's always claimed that he knows with his diabetes, he has to watch what he does when he parties.

I guess I should have said I didn't automatically assume he was taking drugs. I just feel like he's been given so many chances and do-overs that this is just stirring the pot. Er, no pun intended.

I DO suspect, however, that his girlfriend and his doctor are going to have a heart to heart talk with him.... you know, just to make sure he isn't going back to old ways.

Hell, I guess one COULD even argue it was medical marijuana! I mean, if Heidi and Spencer can find a reason to buy it.....

I don't think pot is that big of a deal but yeah, it would definitely do him well to stay away from harder drugs, and people doing them.

All I could think of when reading this thread was that crazy girl on his show that kept saying "Don't threaten me with a good time."

I miss 51 Minds tv shows. I am still upset that Ryan Jenkins had to kill that girl and ruin Vh1 for me.

This.  I don't think weed's that big of deal.  I'd smoke it if it were legal or if I were a rock and roll frontman who could get away with stuff like that without losing my job.  Weed's not that dangerous in and of itself.
