I just saw the Jayden Smith whip my hair video on tv and I just gont GET it. at all. I feel like I dont GET kids now a days at all, and im not that old but I feel old. She doesnt even look like she has her adult teeth yet...

What makes you feel old?

Penis head haircuts make me feel old because I really just don't get them. Twitter also makes me feel old, for that very reason.

lots of things. I teach 13 and 14 year olds. That makes me feel old. I also teach some 6 year olds and when they get picked up at the end of the day and their parents are way younger than me it makes me feel ancient. Being married to a much younger man makes me feel old sometimes. And how much harder it is to lose weight now that I am over 30. When I lost weight before I was 28. I wish I had been smart enough to keep it off.

Im 26 and I feel that way. I wish I cherished my weight at 20 and just held onto it.

Well do it now then Nebb because you can and if you do it now it will be that much easier than 4 years from now...my new goal is one year from now. I told DH that we can't even begin to discuss TTC until I have reached my goal weight. Of course, we don't know if we even want kids for sure but I figure if we do I want to be in as good shape as I can before hand.  I looked at my a$$ in the mirror today after watching 14 year old girls play volleyball in TINY shorts all weekend and it not only made me feel old, it made me feel fat. Bleh.

Oh Im trying, im hell bent on it right now to be honest. I feel though that I will struggle with it all my life.

I need to be hell bent on it to succeed and I too will have to be careful my whole life. My mind thinks it likes food too much and my body likes to store fat. Not a good combo.

Im just lazy. Unless I eat perfectly and work out, my body revolts. I hate it.

When I was 19 my friends and I would eat out ALL the time and load it up with so much crap (we dipped our fries in mayo, for example) and I didnt gain a pound. Now I stand near french fries and gain weight.

I eat WAY too much (like I probably eat 1000 calories more a day than I need) and I don't eat enough of the right things (or rather, too much of the wrong things). I exercise regularly (except for those 3 weeks after our wedding) but I need to do more cardio. I think it sucks that I know what I need to do I just don't do it. That makes me stupid as opposed to ignorant.

I think one of the things that makes me feel old is that my youngest sister is 12. She's 15 years younger than me. And I remember being around 15 ,thinking that when she turns 15, I'll be 30. Now at age 27, 30 is not as old as it seems when you're 16. But I remember feeling those 15 years would take forever. Now she's 12 and I can't believe that in 3 more years I'll be at the point I imagined so many years ago. It just seems surreal.

along the lines of the weight thing- i wish I knew at 15-18 that I wasn't fat and just enjoyed how great I looked! I am at least 10-15 pounds heavier now and I am perfectly fine with that but I wish I didn't waste my high school years so sad over my weight all the time.

And I feel old because staying up to 1am now feels late to me. Come 10pm.. I am beat every night.
