Sex

How old were you when first you did it?

Do today's kids shock you?

I have walkers available.

  • 1. I was 19.

    2. Yes. I still can't believe some of the things I hear about.

    3. I only need my walker after a night with CCF. Bitch be wilin' yo.
  • I was 16.

I have heard stories about 10 year olds making out in pools. That worries me. I also wonder how many girls are trying to get on 16 and pregnant. That also worries me.

  • 16, almost 17.
Sadly, no, they don't shock me.

  • I was WAY too young. Even so, kids today do shock me. Moreso with how disrespectful they are. And also, they look so much older to me than I think I looked when I was a teenager. Did that sentence make sense?

  • 1) I was 16 but I was in a relationship. I don;t mean that in a prude way but I think I would have waited had it been random.

    2) It honestly makes me sad how easy it is to hand stuff out for cheap 'it's comlicated" stati

    3) I am cleaning my cobwebs out but H says don't bother til we start trying to make other humans

But I teach grades 1-12, so I am surrounded by them. But, they do make me sad. (Such as a few years ago when a school in my general part of the country had a Chlamydia outbreak... in their 8th graders). 3. No walker for me, I think I'm good today. What incident did you hear about/witness that brought this on tonight M? (Also, nice to see your pretty face around today)

  • 1. I was 28 - we waited until our wedding night.

    2. Yes, and no. It makes me sad, but I think exposure to sex (and violence) in TV and movies at younger and younger ages naturally leads to more shocking behavior. So it doesn't surprise me, honestly.

    3. Only after a day skiing. ;)

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Sex : Oh I've heard of that one. Is it awful that the first time I heard that, I thought, well, at least theoretically we don't get pregnant 13 year olds from the Rainbow. Ugh. The first year I was teaching, in a school not near me but in my News area, there was an 8 year old that was pregnant. Think about that- a) how unfortunate that 8 yo's have to deal with menstration. b) WTF are you doing having sex at 8? That's the 3rd grade. (This was not a case of abuse, it was a case of 2 young elementary school kids fooling around). THAT shocks me.

I was 14, actually exactly 14, it was a b-day present; booyah! lol It was like 18 months later before it happened again; the taker of my virginity and I broke up soon after the b-day present.

Todays kids shock me only in their stupidity. When I was that age, even though probably would have been best to wait for later, at least I had the common sense to always use protection and to at least be in some form of a relationship, or at least as close as you can come to one when you're in high school. These days I hear stories, via a high school teacher friend, of kids talking about condoms are too uncomfortable, you don't need BC if you pull out, so on and so forth; it's like yeah, we only showed you those videos in sex ed to scare you out of having sex, all the stuff about disease and pregnancy was just made up.

Married in Vegas - June 2011

  • Wait so oral sex DOESNT count???
  • How old were you when first you did it?
2 weeks after my 20th birthday. It was something I don't neccessarily regret but I don't take pride in it neither, as I was not in a relationship with him. We went on to be FWB for 4 yrs but never actually anything more. Although he is my (guy)best friend and has been since 10th grade. So it wasn't all that bad being it was at the point I just wanted to get it over with. I would not want to have waited for the first time to be "special" no. My first time sucked! and a few more times after that.

Do today's kids shock you? Mostly the younger they get the more I just get annoyed and wonder why or how these kids are getting away with stuff like that.
