I'm having a really difficult time finding a job, despite having, at 22, over four years of job experience (grocery and clothing retail and assisting an event planner) and having taken a course on administrative medical assisting. I started college to get a BA in English (out of state, so I left a job to go), but I never finished. So, while I was at college for a year, I didn't work and there is a gap in my resume where I was unemployed. Honestly, how much does that hurt me? And what are some resume tips to get noticed and to get a job? I would be more specific on what I would like help with, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wong. Any suggestions would be great. TIA!
