I'm not trying to be preachy or the grammar police. I just thought this was funny and thought you guys might, too!

  • I love the oatmeal. <3
  • I hadn't heard of it until yesterday. My friend posted a link on FB about how people misuse the words, "epic" and "fail." At least, I think it was from there. It was funny, regardless.

  • LZ, your sig pic is so adorable.  I assume that's your son?  What kind of camera did you use for the pic?  It's so sharp and detailed, especially the water in the puddle!
  • I also see people mix up hear and here. I can't tell you how. Hear has the word ear in it. That bothers me.

  • Thank you! He is my son. It's a Nikon SLR. I don't know too much about it, other than that because it's my stepdad's. I really want one for myself now, though. I got some awesome pictures without even trying.

  • I am going to print this out for every one of my coworkers. I am a copy editor and I see these mistakes all the time. And it makes me crazy. Like the Hulk crazy.
  • I thought it may be an SLR.
  • You won't like Mara when she's angry!

  • So true.  Thanks for posting, I forwarded it to about a dozen people I know who could benefit from this little grammar lesson.

  • Hilarious!  The lose/loose one is a major pet peeve of mine.  WTH am I saying??  I was a Language Arts teacher for 5 1/2 years they're all pet peeves.

Haha, when I was a senior in high school a couple of drop outs broke in the school at night to vandalize the hallways and spray painted "High school is for loosers" followed by "4:20" on the floors.

It was beautiful and I still chuckle to myself when I see someone use loose in place of lose.
