Yeah, I don't see why it wouldn't be ok. We have been talking about voting in the US today, and I'm pretty sure there was no election in Canada, but our Canadians don't seem to care.

I guess that I'm thinking that it would be more efficient to talk to people it concerns, and that I don't want to open a thread and hear about what you think of one ballet issue.

Anna, how long did you dance? I had to quit right before my 17th birthday because of injuries but I was with a semi-pro company at the time. Best decision of my life, in hindsight.

Around 15.  I was "lovingly" informed that thanks to genetics, my hips and chest were far too big for me to ever be a prima ballerina. *where's my sarcasm font?"  She suggested that my body was more suited to football.  I don't even want to know the state my knees would be in if I had continued.  But my heart still stirs every time I hear the Russian Ballet is coming to town.

You know, I don't talk about any of that because there's no reason.  I havn't brought it up and have been peacefully co-existing with people who think differently.  Now what is the point of bringing it up now?  Is it a way for you to keep anybody you disagree with down so you can laugh at them and stay at the top.  Because "OMG, she has real ideas?  People might not think I'm the genius they once thought I was!" Unfortunately, hip-hop barely existed when I was 4 and started dancing  ;)  The choices were ballet, jazz, tap
