Have you ever had this dream?

Last night I dreamt that I was cheating on FI. I woke up this morning feeling sooo guilty, even though it's something I would never do IRL. Anyone else have this dream or similar ones?
Or just weird dreams in general?
Do tell. I am a little afraid of my subconscious slut

It's happened to me before. The part that kind of freaks me out is that it's never one of those alternate reality dreams, ya know? Like, it's not that I'm just some chick banging some dude in my dream, I know I'm married in the dream and I do it anywya. But yes, it happens. I think it's totally normal and probably happens to everyone every once in a while.

Any dream I actually remember is generally so crazy if I described it you would think I regularly drop acid (except the old teeth falling out stress dream, that's semi-normal I think, and I've had that many many times.) My dreams also often have celebrities appear in them, either as themselves or as someone else. Once the farmer from Babe was a childhood friend's father in a dream. Another time Tom Selleck was himself in a dream.

I might be a little nuts.

I have had the most ridiculous hoarish dreams about people that aren't my husband, but it's not because I'm actually a cheating skank.  It's just because dreams are only dreams, and who knows why we dream them.

I don't think that's weird. I don't have a lot of sex dreams, honestly, but when I do, they're never about sex with my husband. In fact, I almost never dream about my husband.

I actually talked about this with him a few weeks ago. I have no idea why, but people in my dreams are almost never actually the people in my life. Sometimes the people in my dreams are weird a weird mish-mosh of people in my life, but just as frequently, they're just random people. Maybe my subconscious is weird.

(Anyway, I don't think you should feel guilty. You didn't actually do anything wrong.)

Yep, I have.  And I felt so weird when I woke up.

Often the people in my dreams don't have faces.  I recognize them (sometimes) but they're not always identifiable by how they really look.

I regularly have teeth falling out dreams, being naked in public dreams, and sex dreams. My sex dreams constantly star the most inappropriate people, like a former professor or a coworker.

Exactly. It was a dream where I knew I was engaged and the guy was one of our mutual friends.

My mom has woken up from dreams she's had where my dad is cheating on her and, in her groggy and still pissed off state, she'll reach over and slug him in the shoulder.  He's all like, wtf!?

The only time I dream about H is when he is cheating on me or leaving me. Or, we are married to OTHER people, and cheating on them with each other. So, I am cheating with my husband in my dreams. It's really weird. Honestly I hate to dream about H for that reason, it leaves me feeling guilty and sad.

I don't know how unpopular this is, but I fucking hate Britney Spears. I've never cared for her music, her public exploits are idiotic, and she makes me embarrassed to be from Louisiana sometimes.

yup, been there. often. I don't worry about it though because in comparison to the craziness of my other dreams I feel like I don't have any real guilt to worry about.  I don't the the dream will make it happen is what I'm trying to say I guess.  I'm not worried about gaining flying powers, or betting the house at the horseraces, or leaving town to join a motercycle gang...

i have had those dreams. I am always really suprised at how guilty I feel when I wake up. Its only a dream. And I think what is worse is that I am always cheating with an ex, or a coworker or someone I know IRL.  That makes it worse. I used to have them about the same male teacher at my school. I could barely look him in the eye for a while. Awkward.

yeah I use to have those dreams ALL the time. I would kiss someone else, or I had cheated on him (the cheating was never shown in my dream but he knew it happened) and I wake up freaking out/ really happy it isn't real. I don't really have those dreams anymore, but I use to have them a lot. I rarely remember my dreams as of late.

Yes, I have had quite a few dreams about my loser ex-boyfriends. And about having sex with them! Kind of weird, since I have a great relationship with my FI. I don't know why it happens.
One time though, I had a dream that my FI was cheating on me, and I woke up so pissed at him! I couldn't help it. I was mad at him for a couple hours...it was really stupid. I couldn't help it though! He was such an asshole in my dream. He thought it was funny though.

I can relate! I had a horrible dream of H cheating and he was just a complete ASS in the dream. He noticed I was less than friendly with him in the morning and I told him I had a dream he cheated on me and had to be angry for a little bit.
