My Christmas was decent. I got two tshirts. One says "My Patronus is a Wookie" and another that says "I never got my acceptance letter to Hogwarts, so I'm leaving the Shire and becoming a Jedi". A Tassimo, Kinect for the Xbox (for FI and me), two games, Axis and Allies boardgame that I've wanted forever, a couple of giftcards, a puzzle. a super nice silverware set ..it comes in a chest and everything. Two little snow globes...I dropped one today though and broke it:(

My dad called though and put me in a weird funk. He's been a really shitty parent and when phoned he forgot our wedding date. It's been the same date for two years, never changed once. Then he sounded annoyed that he'd have to take the weekend off and was going "well, are you doing anything after the wedding? what about the day before. Ugh, I guess I'll have to try take the whole weekend off." It just kinda stung.

Then FI's grandparents basically forgot about him and wrote on a piece of paper (not a card, just a scrap piece of paper from her job) and said "Merry Christmas dale. From Grandma and Grandpa lastname." It really bothered me that they couldn't be bothered to at least get him a card. It was like they were sending out his brothers gifts and went "I guess we should send him something too." It also bugged me that they didn't even put my name. I could understand if we were just dating but we're getting married and they've met me before. It didn't really help my mood. It's really petty but it still bugged me.

Random question. Are white tips / French acrylics not 'in style' anymore? I swear I read someone say that on here within the last few months.

Lenovo used to be IBM.

Blue, how do you like your Toshiba? That's what my old one was, and I wasn't a big fan.

My Dell was the devil in disguise I swear. My older computers were always good but my last Dell was evil. I hated it. And then half the keyboard stopped working so I bought a new one. It's a Toshiba.


I love going to hockey games. We went to Minneapolis last year to watch the Wild/Avalanche game in March. It was so much fun. Really wish I didn't have to drive 8 hours to go see a game though :S

I've heard good things about HP. I had a Dell laptop before my current Macbook but it was a piece of crap. Dell has changed a lot since then though. I've had my Macbook for a little over 4.5 years now and it has been fantastic. It has a few issues now but I'll probably get another mac sometime next year.

Its ok.  I just had to get it repaired because of some hardware issue, and had to pay $150 to transfer my data back to the new hardware.
