A little background on what I think first. I am of the mindset that adults can figure out on their own how to dress themselves. Hence why there have been no colors thrown out to anyone as far as the wedding itself goes.
Well FMIL just won't have that. She is the sweetest women I think I have ever met, but she is grating my nerves on this one issue. She insisted that I tell her what color dress to wear for the wedding....over. and. over. I finally told her navy would look nice. So, she goes and gets a navy dress. I thought that it would end there.
No, now she calls me and asks me to come over to help her pick out shoes and jewelry to match. I'm not sure how to tell her that I think she can manage just fine on her own, or if I just suck it up and go tell her what matches and what doesn't. What would y'all do?
BTW, we have a great relationship, but not the kind of one where I could be very blunt with her.
