Hi! (I'm new.) And also, I'm SO GLAD there's a Snarky Brides section. We just eloped last week and have started to plan our big wedding, and there's already drama (with other people). Considering I'm trying to be as anti-Bridezilla as possible (which includes not being all ZOMG WEDDINGGGGGGGG!!! all the time, good Lord), the drama with our loved ones is so frustrating.

OP. Save yourself now if you are real. You can't have a pretty princess day if you are already married, military or not, and call it a wedding. It is a vow renewal or a church blessing, not a wedding. 

Your elopement was your wedding, whether you like it or not. I bet the military will agree.

See, I just want to give her horrible advice to help her make a fool of herself.  Or tell her to commit every faux paus imaginable, but to ask the girls on E how to work out the details. (BTW, I like E, they would put their collective foot down.)
I would hate to put the E girls through that torment, but it would be fun to watch.

It;s been doing this to me randomly for three days. Yesterday I posted a response to someone and it disappeared. When I later looked at my post list it showed up in a Philadelphia thread, randomly sitting there between two people conversations. It didn't even phase them. The Knot Matrix strikes again.
