Tell me about yourself

Uh, self explanatory. Really though, tell me random little things about yourself. I'll go first.

Whenever I go into a bathroom with a shower curtain I have to peek behind the curtain before I can use the restroom.

I laugh when I'm nervous.

I can be super sensitive (T calls me "tender heart" care bear style).

I read super duper fast and have always excelled at reading comprehension.

I check behind the shower curtain too! It goes back to me sneaking and watching Friday the 13th when I was far too young for it. After that I was convinced Freddy was hiding behind the curtain, haha.

I danced growing up and in my university's performing arts company for my entire college career. Six years after graduation I feel like I have absolutely no rhythm anymore.

My sisters are 14 and 12 years older than me.

I am only wearing one contact today, so I can barely see.

It looks like I may be getting a new job at work, with new responsibilities and a raise! And the best news is that I will get away from my idiot boss!

So, despite my near-blindness, I am having a good day.

Fun

I grew up on a farm in the midwest but I'm only truly at my happiest when I'm vacationing near a beach.  I love the ocean.

I have three younger sisters, all our names (my parents too) start with D, and we all have wicked wavy curly hair.

I love listening to Zeppelin, the Doors, Bob Seger, Boston and the Who.

I'm a reporter.

I'm obsessed with rollercoasters.

I'm marrying the first guy I ever dated and the first guy I ever kissed.

I obsessively take vitamins.

My guilty pleasure... I love keeping up with those friggen Kardashians.

ETA - One more!  I figure skated for ten years.

FI is the nice one in our relationship.

I love baseball. I can watch it at any level. FI and I would love to retire and travel with our team all over the country.

I work with my sister and spend about 10hrs a day with her and still happen to see her on the weekend.

My sister and I have the same initials first middle and last.

My mom is 13 years older than my step-dad.

I have two nephews who I adore to no end but still can't decide if I want to have children.

I have two chronic illness that I've had for the last 7 years.

I live in So Cal and I really don't care for the beach too much.

Sometimes I think I have obsessive compulsive personality disorder.  FI once made me cry by shuffling a deck of cards (after I'd sorted them all into suits and ordered them neatly!). 

I think live shrimp are cute and find dead shrimp creepy.  I won't eat them, or watch people eating them.  I've been known to build a barricade out of menus at restaurants so I don't have to see their dead little curled up shrimpy legs on my table.

... Yes, I'm a freak.

I do that too! Like someone is going to be in the shower. Weird!

I have short nails, but I love to paint them. I find it really calming.

I usually don't laugh out loud, I say, "that's funny."

I'm a homebody, but FI is not at all.

I hate mustard, just the sight of it.

I just made my Bucket List at the ripe old age of 20 and am super duper excited about everything on it.

I did not like my BF when I first met him, despite his falling in love with me almost instantly.

My brother is 8 years older than me, and my mom was 38 when she had me. Many people thought I was an accident. I wasn't. In fact, my mom got pregnant with me on the first try.

I live and breathe entertainment and pop culture.

I cannot ride a bike or swim.

FI thought that shrimp were just the legs of a bigger aquatic animal (Like each shrimp is a crab leg). I let it slide because he didn't eat seafood growing up, but I still LMAO.

I can't sleep with any body part hanging over the edge of the bed. I have a fear of something crawling out to attack me.

My favorite movie is The Neverending Story.

I hate the city I live in and want to move. If it weren't for H, I'd be in NC.

I feel like I was born in the wrong time period.

I still sleep with a teddy bear my mom bought me for my very first Christmas.

Sometimes the thought of steping outside my house fills me with fear and I can't go anywhere in public. But when I stay home I feel antisocial and alone. It's a lose-lose, so I usually just stay home.

I love to cook, but I love even more cooking something that H can't get enough of.

I'm an engineer (not the train kind).

When reading paperbacks, I read about 1 page a minute, which is about 40% faster than my H.

I'm incredibly indecisive.

One of my best friends is a 40 year old man.

Our honeymoon was the first time I'd been over seas.

GPB- I suck at riding a bike since I haven't done it since I was a kid. I didn't learn to swim till I was about 9 (no need to in Alaska really) but now I'm a fish

Celles- Thats funny, sounds like too much work to shuffle though :P T was getting annoyed at me organzing the pantry last night haha

I love shrimp and every time I eat it in front of one of my best girlfriends, she gets grossed out and says "You know those are entire tiny little animals, right?"  Yup.  Delish.

I got to see Boston in concert about two years before Brad Delp killed himself.  I'm so glad we went.

I have music taste that is similar to AATB.

I love my job. It sucks sometimes, but I still love it.

I have a 5 year old son and a 5 year old half brother.

I've had 12 cars since I was 15. I've only wrecked one of them.

My office smells like a foot right now.

I love cottage cheese and eat it every day.

Breakfast for dinner is my favorite meal.

At one point, I was so big that I broke my own leg.

I love this. I could totally see T and I doing that.

My parents retired at 47/48 and now travel the US in their awesome motorhome, they love it.

I love junk food.  I blame my parents.  I need to clean up my act before we have children.

I used to be wicked artsy/crafty.  As a child I took art lessons, sewed, crocheted, cross-stiched, and did needlepoint.  I'm getting back into sewing.

My brother bought an engagement ring for his girlfriend (he hasn't proposed yet).  We have the same first name, so if she takes his last name, she will have my old name.  I was named after my aunt, so now there will be 3 of us.  Christmas is interesting.

I can cross two eyes or either one by itself.

I cannot wiggle my ears, and I find that frustrating.

I can rarely tell when someone is being sarcastic and it's always so embarrassing to be asking, "are you being serious?" all the time. It's ironic because all of my friends are sarcastic jerks, and will answer "yes", just to see me confused for a minute.

My favorite book as a child was Aesop's Fables, and when I look at it now, I'm pretty creeped out by the pictures and stories (but still love them).

I play violin, but only on Christmas and St Patrick's day.

I meditate daily (and have a big altar in my bedroom, everyone always says it's their favorite part of my house).

I celebrate Buddha's Birthday each year by having a 20 person chinese dinner at my house and I paint each person a special canvas. 

I love dark chili chocolate. *drool*

I read each one of the Twilight books in one sitting.

I passed the GED in the 8th grade without finishing, I ran out of time.

I'm starting to have wedding nightmares, but when I recount them to someone else, they're really just funny.

I'm an NFL fan--go Steelers!  I can get somewhat violent watching them play.

I have a huge heart for animals...I bawled when Gidge had to stay overnight at the vet.

JFK's mother held me, unfortunately I was a baby and have no recollection of this.

I'm a total geek/nerd when it comes to books and video games.

I hate anything flavored with mint....toothpaste makes me gag every time.

I'm allergic to most detergents, lotions, etc.  My skin is like excessively sensitive to everything...and excessively annoying.

I still play Pokemon. I almost always buy the new games when they come out. It's sort of embarassing! But the games are still fun and there is actually a lot of strategy behind putting together a great team.

I can't remember anything about a movie unless I've seen it 2 or 3 times.

I have a good innate sense of direction and rarely get lost while driving.

I didn't have my first boyfriend (or boys interested in me- at all.) until I was 17 (and a half) in my senior year of HS. Once I got my first boyfriend it seemed like suddenly more guys were interested. Even so, T is only my 3rd real BF.

I used to go to horse camp every summer until I was 17.

I always got teased for being annoying and "anorexic" (I was not. Just very thin).

I went to a strict, private, christian school from 3rd-12th grade.

See I would trade places with you to see where you are from or where you grew up. Baseball is life with FI and I it's a great part of our relationship because it's something that we both enjoy and can talk about for hours.
