Well, it all seems to be much better now. They had to do 3 rounds of cutting, but the doc thinks they got it all. He had to wait an hour in between each round so they could test the areas and whatnot, which is why it took so long.
But the doctor said he should be fine and for now just to be careful and let his head heal. They are going to do a couple more tests on the skin but mainly just as a precaution. I'm so relieved. But, he won't send me a picture of his shaved head. He knows I'll have to tease him.
