Gifts for Dads??

Keeping with the theme of the day...We are giving our parents albums of our pics after the wedding as their main gifts, but I decided to give the moms an embroidered handkerchief at the RD (in case they cry at the wedding).  So now I feel I have to give the dads a little something.  Ideas?  Neither of them drink or play golf.

    What about a nice picture of each of you with your dads?  Put it in a little frame?

    This won't help you at all, but I thought it was humorous that my dad was the only one out of all the parents to cry.  I figured at least my mom would get choked up, but no, just my dad.  :)Anyway, the picture idea is good.  Or maybe you could frame your favorite picture of the two of you when you were younger?  Or even do a double frame; favorite picture from when you were younger next to a more recent one?

    We did hadnkerchiefs for the dad's too.  The one for my dad said "I spent thousands on this wedding and all I got was a stupid hadnkerchief"The one for D's dad said:Rehearsal dinner $2,000Tuxedo Rental $150 Proof your only son isn't gay: PricelessThey were a huge hit!  Our families are a little wacky though.  That probably wouldn't go over as well with everyone.  Our mom's refused to use their handkerchiefs though!

    Shannon, I thought about "silks" for the men--like they can wear in their pockets?But FI's brother IS gay, so um, yeah, that wouldn't work.  :)

    Oh, that's funny!  I guess that one wouldn't work!  I think silk pocket squares with maybe a monogram or the date embroidered on them would be nice.

    My dad smokes cigars so we got him a nice humidor and a had it engraved with the wedding date and a message. DH wanted to put "To all your money up in smoke" but we went the sentimental route lol

    I got my dad cuff likes that say father of the bride. They are super sweet. My dad loves cuff links but I realize this would probably be a useless gift for many other dads. :)
