It is absolutely INSANE outside. Flash flooding, overland flooding, flooded roads, lightning strikes, power outages, zero visibility at times.. I had to run a red light on my way to the oral surgeon because my other choice was to stop in about 8 inches of standing water. I only have about 6 inches of ground clearance, so stopping wasn't an option. As it was, I was shocked I made it through and that my car still started when I was done at the surgeon. When I was getting gas on the way home, the power went out at the gas station right as I was going inside to pay. Luckily I remembered the exact total and I could leave a check for the total with my pump number and time on it. Otherwise god only knows how long I would have had to wait. I'm REALLY glad we live on top of a hill. With lots of trees that are taller than the houses.
And? It'll stop for about 15 minutes sporadically and the sun will come out. And then all of a sudden it's torrentially downpouring again. That's the weirdest part.

Everything the light touches is my kingdom.
