And, I'm hardcore judging a FB post yesterday from a dear friend's adult son, who said the firefighters should all be embarrassed because of the 346 homes they were unable to save, and that they couldn't do the job we pay them to do. WTF??? We're talking a raging wildfire driven by 65 mph winds that NO ONE could have stopped. Those firefighters are heartbroken and devistated that any property or lives were lost, but it could have been so, so much worse. How dare this 21 year old punk critizice the amazing efforts of the firefighters who have spent the past 13 days on the front lines of hell, protecting complete strangers from losing everything. It's called fireFIGHTING for a reason - sometimes the fire wins.

There's a girl I know who isn't working and posts everyday on fb about sitting on the patio drinking, going to the beach, and all the lazy things she does. I don't understand how someone who doesn't work can afford to drink as much as she does. It just seems like bragging to me cause she always finishes it with crap like "what an awesome life". Get a fucking job and rejoin the real world sweetie.

I judge a relative who came to our family party for 5 mins then left with her baby daddy( I normally don't use that term but that is what he is not her BF) who just about a month ago she was blasting all over FB for sleeping with her BFF. She also left her 2month old baby with her mom again. When her mom questioned her about leaving she said pretty loud she didn't want to be at this fucken party.

• And, to make it worse, this kid's grandfather and two uncles are firefighters. I'm pretty sure Grandpa turned over in his grave yesterday. I only restrained my comments because I've known his Mom since before he was born, and his FB friends all agreed with me that he was acting like an asswhole.

BK - that's ridiculous. Momma is an idiot, and that kid is in for a rude awakening.

• I usually judge our suite-mates (word?) because they cater in lunch every single day so their employees don't take lunch breaks. I don't mind at all today because they ordered too much and now I have a delicious grilled chicken salad and cookie.

Also- they have a company come and water their plants. It's weird.

A spin off of this, because I would never smoke near a kid, but I judge people who are all hissy about people smoking outside. Listen, second hand smoke effects do not apply to you walking by a puff of smoke. Its all about extended exposure. I would have to fishbowl a car with about 10 cigs before it has much of a health risk to you, so me smoking outside and you walking by it is only comparable to me walking by you wearing half a bottle of perfume. You may not like the smell, and it may make you choke a bit, but its not going to hurt you, so get over it.

The whole "I have an issue with smoking ANYWHERE because it effects MY health" makes me laugh. Cause looks at the stats. It doesnt.

I totally get what your saying and I agree with you. I used to smoke, but I always tried to be mindful non-smokers around me. What burns me up is the people who have no regard whatsoever for others. Last night we were in a massive crowd of people walking to the carnival and this guy walks past us and flicked his cig onto the ground and it bounced and hit some lady's foot. He saw it and didn't even say sorry, just kept on walking. That's effed up.

[QUOTE]Surprise, my judge is about the lack of parenting as well. Yesterday, at the fourth of July parade there was a group of 3 siblings who were out of control. One of them decided she couldn't see well enough so kept moving closer and closer. Pretty soon she was literally sitting in the parade route. All three of them would get up and run out into the parade if they saw one of the parade entrants throwing out candy and such. They would follow and chase after the parade people until they gave them candy. Then they'd walk through the parade back to where they were sitting. Mom and Grandma did nothing to curb this behavior. Instead they'd point out the people handing out candy across the street.

My brother who's going to be a firefighter texted me today with a sad story. Lastnight some dipshits put a charcoal grill they'd bEen using in the back of their truck and started driving home, it tipped and the still hot coals fell out and the truck caught on fire and they were able to get a baby out but the dog was scared and they didn't see it and it died. Seriously, how stupid can you be to put that in your car and risk so much?! Charcoals are stupid and so are they.
• My unpop opinion for the day is that I hate people who want to get on disability because they have a felony and can't find a job. A) Yes you can. I gave you the name of a temp agency that hires felons who are working to better their lives. B) You being an idiot and robbing/selling drugs/hitting your wife is not an effing disability.

Sorry, this is how my week has gone.

The little kids sitting behind us kept yelling, "It's a spider! It's a really big spider! It's coming at us!" They were talking about the fireworks, but I kept thinking there was a spider ON ME and it was heading toward them. I get all itchy just thinking about it.

• I totally judge the new smoking ban here in Indiana.
"The ban prohibits smoking in public places, places of employment, most state government vehicles and within eight feet of an entrance to a public place, according to House Enrolled Act No. 1149 .

The law has exceptions, though. Smoking is still allowed in bars that only permit people over the age of 21, including riverboat casinos, cigar and hookah lounges, and some fraternal clubs."

I'm ok with not smoking in restaurants, but there are some VFWs and American Legions that are not exempt because they allow people under 21 in once or twice a year for special events, and those places are going to lose business.
