We've found a reception venue, sort of. We found a fantastic historic hotel where we want to have the reception but there are two ballrooms to choose from as options. One is smaller, more basic, and 1/2 the price. The other is much more elaborate, larger, and the dream. Since we're paying for everything ourselves I suggested the smaller room to save money. FH wants the bigger room but won't commit to the larger (several thousand dollars larger) price tag. I've told him I'm just excited to get that venue at all and reallly don't need the grand ballroom but it doesn't seem to be helping the decision along. I need him to make a decision quickly because this place will book fast.
Any suggestions on how to get him to make a decision would be greatly appreciated.
