So I just wanted to throw good vibes out and hope to get some good vibes back.
FI works for an auto parts company now, but isnt really super happy. Hes military police nad always wanted to sway into an actual police job. He applied for the state police academy (along with 1500 other people) and was bummed when he didint get one of the 22 available positions... ya i know 22 out of 1500 was a long shot but he was super upset.
Anyway, the town enxt to us is hiring cops, and hes already had a meeting with the leuitent by chance-- (he was part of a sting operation from the town to catch a theif who had stolen liek 30 grand from peoples Credit Cards)...
And his test is tomorrow evening. He's super nervous and isn't sure how many people are applying OR how many spots are available. He hasn't been studying a ton so I'm kind of mad at him, but a lot of it is reading comprehsion so hes been practicing that (he gets distracted really easily, and im pretty sure he has concentration issues...)...
So please keep your dfingers crossed. Getting on a local PD would be great for him and his career- and its something he wants SO bad. plus, it would be awesome for our future (hello new house!)
