Is there anything you ladies at this point are deciding not to do that you originally planned to do???...
I have decided not to do a candy bar at this point.  Thats just one extra thing I dont need to do if I already have favors.
Also changed my mind about  having labeled bottled waters on the seats during the reception... My caterer is bringing fresh spring water that is flavored with fresh fruit.  It will be available for them.

YES! I decided not to do a lot of DIY. I thought I had TWO years to do all the projects and it just felt too early to do stuff and then it seems like the last 6 months flew by.
Originally I was going to cover the 24" letters from Joanne's in Moss
and it just got to be TOO much and it was expensive and messy
so I painted them and called it a day. I MAY cover them in fabric im not sure...

I also wanted to emboss a bunch of napkins- but I bought the heat embosser and poweder and it wasnt working. I think the embossing powder i got was glitter and maybe the image was too small, it just didint work- so my heat embosser went to waste! I ended up spending $100 online and ordering personalized napkins- it seems like a splruge but it saved me HOURS of work.

But Just now i thought of a new project -embossing my "folders" i am giving out at the rehearsal that include the schedule and timeline and contact sheets. plus a thank you card.

I alsowanted to make these champagne cork place card holders, and it just seemed like an added expense so I nixed that ideaand i am doing regular place card holders.

Well i tried the wood burning tools this week. I cant make it do what i want. So i bought the paint marker and going to try that. SO hopefully i cant just paint on the BM and my name on the hangers. Otherwise i might nix the project. I might change the design of the programs to make them simplier and less labor intensive. Defintaley starting to try to downsize some of my ideas. Looked at ordering clutches for the BM (custom made) and i am not sure if they will use again and its just another added expense. So i think im holding back from that purchase.

I had originally wanted to DIY my invites, but ended up ordering off VistaPrint and getting like 80% off the original price!  I also had originally planned on getting FI and I's rings engraved, but decided against that as my engraving wouldn't show, and he didn't want his engraved.  His was going to say "11:11 my wish came true" (we started dating on November 11th, but I like the clock time because it was probably around 11:11am that he actually asked me to be his girlfriend   And the old saying is to make a wish at 11:11!
