Insult to Cake Caterers??

For my wedding I am thinking about getting a small display wedding cake which would be primarily for show and for the cake cutting.  In the back, we will serve sheet cake.  Would it be an insult to the cake caterer to tell them this plan?

I agree with the last person.... if my baker wouldn't give me what I wanted I would for sure find someone else who would. This is your wedding and your cake... you can't be worrying about what your baker thinks/wants.
