i know, I have been the trouble maker when it comes to pictures and posts but I am trying to figure out how to put a picture in a post without doing the tinyurl link.  Does anyone know?  TIA!

Pretty sure you always have to do a tinyurl link.

You have to use the tinyurl within the code to do a PIP example (just remove asterisks): [*img]tinyurlgoeshere[*/img]

I don't use tinyurl (I don't think... not really sure what that is even though I see it all the time on here). If a pic is from photobucket, I either copy and paste the pic then add the [img] codes or copy the direct link from the photobucket drop menu. If it is not from photobucket (random Internet pic) you can right click and go to "copy image address" then paste and add [img] codes.
