Were Catering our own reception and i need some ideas on foods to serve?? So far this is what i have,
Tossed Salad
Fruit Salad
Vegi Tray
Tamales
Rice

Wedding Countdown Ticker Live..Laugh..Love

    We'll be doing tamales too (I think)!  Why not go with the mexican theme and do a taco bar or something too?  Chips/salsa with lots of options on salsa?  That's the direction I think we are leaning right now- but then again, we have tons of time to chance our minds lol!  HTH :)

    I think you should have an option for your non-Mexican food guests.  I personally do not like Mexican so I would be super bummed if the only food choices (besides salad) were Mexican foods.

    We are doing little sandwiches, potato and macaroni salad, green bean cassarole, baked beans with brisket, corn bread, rolls, salad, veggie/cheese/fruit tray, cheese ball, pulled ham/chicken/pork. My FSIL did meatballs. My sister did kabobs

    What about rice and beans, quesadillas, some kind of tomato/corn/avocado salad, tostadas?  It seems like you're headed toward a Mexican theme...
