Clear Cocktail?

We are doing a signature cocktail ... my colors are burgundy with orange and gold. Normally I'd go for something with cranberry or pomegrante juice, but the thought of a dark red cocktail ANYWHERE near my dress makes me want to panic!

What are you all doing ... staying away from the cocktails? Hoping for no accidents? Going with something clear?

As long as you're not the one drinking it, the color of the beverages should be a non-issue.  Is the signature cocktail the only option at the whole wedding?  You could go clear if that's the case, but otherwise just do what you want and don't drink it.  I stuck with white wine all night, but we had a whole bunch of more colorful beverages and it all turned out okay.  (Keep an eye out for spills on the dance floor though).

I think a colored beverage could be fine. Personally, I will be drinking red wine and champagne and just hoping the wine doesn't spill.
If you have a colored signature cocktail plus beer and wine, you could always stick to white wine for the night.

I think a tequila sunrise would be a nice cocktail with those colors. Its orange juice, tequila and a little grenadine, I LOVE them. Also, I wouldn't worry about people spilling on your dress, I would hope everyone would know how special it is to you.

FWIW: I plan on purchasing an off-the-rack dress the week or two before my wedding as a "back up" dress (and returning it if I don't wear it) in case of spills or accidents that would make me feel uncomfortable enough to not want to be in my wedding dress (which I do not see happening... but I'd rather be prepared).

While I don't think you have anything to worry about....
To be safe, what if you had a GOLD signature cocktail? Seems like anything apple-based with anything carbonated makes a freakin' unbelievably magical-looking cocktail
