With two dessert options, still need a cake?

I am considering going with Option B which has two desserts choices.  Only $10 more for a second app, entree, salad and dessert!

A)  One entrée with one appetizer, salad, vegetable, starch and dessert
B)  Two entrees, two apps, two salads, vegetable, starch and two desserts

If these are my choices for dessert, would you still get a cake or cupcakes?  Probably only 45 guests.  (It's an outdoor Western cookout.)
  • Cheesecake with Raspberry Sauce
  • Teton Strawberry Shortcake
  • Apple Crumb Pie
  • Blackberry Cobbler
  • Dornan’s Homemade Cookies: Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter or Ginger
  • Dornan’s Homemade Brownies
  • S’mores at the open fire ring
(Edit to add: if we do get a cake, cake cutting, serving and boxing is complimentary)

I would get a cake if you choose brownies & cookies for dessert. If you choose cheesecake and shortcake or any pies for the dessert then you can probably opt out for the cake. But I love cake, so I say stick in in there anyway.

Since it will be about 45 persons and if you need a new ideas for cupcake, how about to do the push pop cake. They will be the big hit of the weddings cause they are so cute and you can decorate them the way you want and you can buy a display and each display fit 28 push pop containers. They are not expensive.

Part of the beauty of cake is that there's at least one for every type of baker. If you're a novice or pressed for time, a simple pound cake garnished with fresh fruit makes an easy and satisfying dessert. But if you're an expert willing to go all out, you could spend days on an elaborate multilayered cake recipe with multiple fillings and frostings, topped with intricate decorations. These information are reffered in online and gaved it.

My dad's wife is making cheesecakes and pies for our dessert, but we are still going to have a "show" cake (only the top layer is real). I just think cakes are pretty, and nice for cake-cutting pictures :)
