XP Hors D'oeuvers Selections...

Hi ladies! FI and I have already picked out our entree and beverage selections. However, we are still undecided about hors d'oeuvers to serve during our cocktail hour. I would love to hear your opinions/advice. Here are the choices (we need to pick 4 or 5):

Swedish meatballs
garlic parmesan wings
hot wings
beef kabobs
chicken kabobs
sausage and cheese stuffed mushrooms
bruschetta
mini quiche
chicken fingers

Good point. My first thought was ohhhh we love wings! we have to get those! But on second thought, wings + everyone all dressed up= disaster.

Before even seeing PP's responses I was going to say cut the wings. Way too messy.  Everything else sounds delicious though!

Good idea! We are actually having our RD at a restaurant that has some awesome wings on the app menu so I might have to add those in. haha. All the choices sound great! I agree that wings are waaay too messy.  Especially if people will be standing up for cocktail hour.  Also - I do not recommend chicken fingers. They are way to generic for something as special as your wedding! The remaining choices are all excellent! Pick 4-5 depending on your budget and you really cannot go wrong.

I LOVE wings, but can't see eating them during a cocktail hour. :)

Ditto this!! Wings are great, but not when you are trying to balance a drink and not make a mess. Sounds yummy.

I think all of it sounds great except for the wings. I'd skip those just because I think they'd be too messy. Now I'm hungry.

I'm all for the stuffed muchrooms! Yum!
Swedish meatballs always seem to be a hit.
Bruschetta and mini quiches sound good too. Especially if they are a non meat option for your vegetarian guests.... well unless their vegans and don't do eggs.
Then I'd do the chicken kabobs.

I'm hungry now too!
