Band and Caterer's in Denton area

I'm wanting to find a cover band that plays all types of music from the 70s to today with moderate pricing, hopefully $3k or under.  

I am also looking for recommendations for a caterer for our snack/appetizer table, we already have for the main dinner but they do not provide the appetizers we are wanting to have.  Any recommendations?

I have looked at the recommended vendor's list, but just wanted to get other options.

Maybe someone will chime in, but I don't remember hearing too many ladies mention having a band for the reception.

What kind of appetizers are you wanting (that your caterer won't provide?) I remember thinking that Central Market's catering department sounded really good for appetizers, but it ended up being more cost-effective to just add appetizers from our dinner caterer.

We are wanting to have some type of heavier food (but not filling for a meal) for appetizers as the reception starts at 4 and we will have dinner at 6/6:30.  The caterer we are having is a much smaller company that doesn't offer a wide variety, but it worked for our dinner.  Most people just do fruit and cheese but I would like something a little more filling as guests are going to start drinking.  We are getting married in a small town about an hour and a half north of DFW so unfortunately we won't have places like Central Market available.  Would rather find a caterer to handle all of the food.

What do you mean your caterer won't do that?  That seems like a perfectly reasonable appetizer menu for your reception.

It's a very small town restaurant that is doing the caterering.  Their restaurant is more of a bbq/german restaurant, therefore will not have the options available for the type of appetizers I am looking for.
