I just emailed him that I found a song I liked for our first dance, but that I only knew of the live version (it's a country singer who does a lot of in-the-bar CDs).  He called me not 5 minutes later to let me know he already has me covered - he's got the studio version of the song.  Glad to know that 5 months before my wedding, I'm still a priority to him!!!

FYI, his name is Marshall Argovitz.

I just needed to share because I'm so excited about finding our first dance song (well, assuming FI approves it)

    That's awesome!  May I ask what song you chose?  We are using a live version of a Texas Country song for our first dance. :)

    Who I Am by Wade Bowen.  What's your song?  I just wasn't crazy about how the first bit of the song (and a good bit of it) was his fans screaming...

    Thank you!!  THAT'S OUR SONG TOO!!!  :)  I'm just so used to the live version of it that when I heard the studio version I thought there was more piano than I wanted.  I think we are going to do a Stoney song for our private dance at the end of the night.  Great choice though!!

    hahahah that is too funny.  I guess maybe I should actually hear the studio version before I completely commit to it... but I love piano, so if that was your only complaint, then I think we'll be alright.  I love fun coincidences like this - they always make me laugh :)

    My best friend had a friend (who can sing very well) play the song acoustic at her wedding... it was so pretty
