Rehersal Dinner Ideas in Dallas

Hi gals,
Everyone has been so helpful with suggestions on the wedding venues that I am asking for suggestions on rehersal dinner venues.  I am having my wedding in Dallas about 5 mins south of downtown Dallas.  I want to do something pretty inexpensive and  I will be feeding about 25 adults and 6 kids.  I would like to do the dinner in downtown Dallas.  Please let me know if you have any ideas!  Thanks everyone!

Jenn

Alot of people on here suggest the Twisted Root Burger Co.  I think a couple of girls have had theirs there.  So that might be fun for something casual.

We had ours at Blue Mesa at Northpark.  We had a private room and had about 30 people.  It was fun.

Spaghetti Warehouse might be a fun, affordable option. And the kids would love the streetcar :)

I'm a Twisted Root RD bride. However, with 25 ppl plus kids it may be too much. We had close to 100 ppl so we closed the place down. It was awesome!

We were close to booking with Iron Cactus in Downtown. They were kind of pricey, but with a party your size, you should be okay.

It just depends on what kind of feel you want for the evening as well. Our big focus was fun/laid back, nothing stuffy. Iron Cactus would be a happy medium.

If you want some good BBQ I would suggest Sonny Bryan's in the West End.  We're having ours there and they have a private room downstairs that will hold up to 60ppl.  It's $18.99 for 3 meats and 3 sides plus a cobbler...all buffet style.  I think it's a great deal!!!  There is another location over by the AA center, but it doesn't have a private room, oh and there is no fee for the room :)

If you're open to the area - in Uptown, we are looking at going to Matito's Tex-Mex. It is so "us" because it's our fav Mexican restaurant, incredibly reasonable and has several different-sized private and semi-private rooms. Check it out!
