Officiant Pricing

Hi Girls,

My parents thought it was priced a little much for the officiant ($250 - $350), if you don't mind me asking how much you paid for yours? My parents want to cover the cost for us but she doesn't want to pay too much if there is somebody cheaper.

We had to give a donation to the priest. I think we gave him about $250 but that was Bill's job so I don't know for sure.

We'll be using my brother as our officiant, he offered, we accepted, we'll be paying the $25 for his day of license.

We paid our pastor $250.... but I have no idea what a hired officiant costs.

Our hired officiants were $450 and $600. This is not the route to go if you are trying to save money.

Ours is $250 w/out rehearsal, $350 with. So, that rate is pretty average.

Ours is $400.00. But we REALLY like him...

Yep, that's normal. Ours was $250 with rehearsal, but only because I searched and searched to find someone in our budget. Most we found were more than $300 if you wanted them to come to the rehearsal.
