Just wanted to know what everyone was doing for the 4th! Trying to think of things to do, maybe someone has a better idea than me! (hehe)

We always go to Lone Star Park... there's lots to do... horse races and it has a big midway too.  The fireworks show is awesome!

We're heading to Lake Texoma, then going to go to the Rangers game on the 4th.

We're going out of town to my sister's husband's parents' house (they live on a lake).  But, I recently heard about Kaboomtown in Addison - sounds really fun!

Going to spend the weekend on Possum Kingdom Lake!  There's a fireworks thing on Saturday, the all day Sunday on the water.  

angieandjames... I've been to Kaboomtown several times in past years.  It IS fun, but get there early!  Parking's a b!tch.

We went to Lonestar Park last year for the 4th and I loved it, the fireworks were beautiful-would highly recommend it.  Oh...and we went with $200 for betting..and came home with $440!!  Cant beat that!

This year FI works so we won't be doing anything spectacular.  We live down on Cedar Creek Lake and I guess there is going to be an airshow of some sorts over the lake at 6 p.m.  FI was in the USAF and the town I come from has an Air Base so I think that's what our plans will consist of!

It seems like most of the 4th of July events are on the 3rd of July and we are going to a dinner party that night, so are there any events actually going on the 4th?

Going to Lake Texoma on Saturday (my home!) for boating and fireworks with family and friends. 

Going to Lake Palestine (I think?) on Sunday for more fireworks, boating, and DH's family. 

It is a weekend of watersports and fireworks for us!

We are going to visit my FI's sister in Oklahoma City.  Hopefully we will get to see fireworks this year!  We went up there last year and it was pouring down rain so we didn't get to see any!  I worry about it especially since they have been having all of that crazy weather lately!

Lake Granbury like we do every year!  Well go down both Saturday and Sunday and then watch fireworks from the boat Sunday!  Excited!!

Yes we have been to Kaboom town in the past and I would agree Parking is a pain! I was wondering about Lone Star Park never been there for the 4th. Glad to know someone on here is going! My SIS-N-LAW is prego...So whatever we do...it has to be a lot of sitting! Due to complications.
