DIY Programs

I have a template for a program but not sure where to go from here. I am thinking half page size but what kind of paper do you use? Do you then just get them printed at a kinkos and assemble? Appreciate your help!

Use cardstock. Go to a paper store, scrapbook store, office store, etc and find some. I personally think that ivory looks nicer than stark white. You can find ones with a little texture to them so they look fancier.

Sizes are totally up to you. I've seen them on the front and back of a half page. Mine were a full page folded in half. You can print them at home, or take them to Kinkos. I did kinkos and it wasn't that expensive. It really just depends on what you want!

I got an ivory cardstock kit and printed mine myself at work on my laser printer.  I have pics in my planning bio.  Mine are the booklet kind and then I just did a little insert that I wanted to include myself on ivory paper and stuck it in there and tied it all with a ribbon.

I used stardream metallic cardstock (envelopemall.com had them waaay cheaper than Papersource at Northpark- even with shipping, still about $10 cheaper).  I had a graphic designer friend do the layout to be consistent with menu cards and invites and printed them on my laser printer.

Mine is just going to be printed on both sides and folded down the middle.  I may add some ribbon, if I have enough time.

    I used Stephiehall's as a guide.

Thank you. Sounds like these ideas will get me in the right direction.
