Getting in Shape

P90X...can I do it?

Hi. I am looking for input from people who have done P90X. 

I haven't really done any strength training or toning stuff since I was in high school (I am 25 now).  For exercise, I usually just walk briskly for about an hour; nothing high impact.  I'm not overweight or anything, but I am definitely not toned and I'd like to lose 15 pounds or so in the next 116 days.

I am aware that P90X is the exact opposite of what I've been doing (or rather, not doing), but I want to know if it is even feasible for someone who hasn't been doing weight training to do or if it is really designed for people who are already in pretty good shape but who want something more intense. 

I don't want to waste money on it if it's the kind of thing where if I can't already do 20 pull ups I am screwed. 

Have any other non-toned ladies started on P90X cold turkey?
