I signed up for my first trail run. I wanted something to challenge me, without having to train for an incredibly long run (long runs don't fit well in my schedule right now). So I'm doing a 10K, but hoping the added element of it being on a trail will satisfy my need for a challenge! My question is whether trail running is that different than road running? Is there anything that I should be aware/careful of?
