Getting in Shape

30 day shred

So finance and I have been doing this on and off the past couple of weeks.  Now, I'm cracking down and doing it everyday no matter how difficult it is or how much I don't want to.  Question, did people have success just shredding and eating right?  I plan to hit the gym a few times per week but I'm not sure how often I'll get there.

  • I just finished last week (I did it in 36 days, so pretty much every day with a few scattered days off). I did that and Weight Watchers, with no real additional exercise.  I lost about an inch off my waist, hips, and thighs. No significant weight loss though.
  • I have taken a couple weeks off due to a recent illness in my lower GI but when I was doing the shred I also incorporated the gym. You need to do additional cardio if you have a significant amount of weight to lose. I would do the shred then go downstairs to my gym and do another 30-40 minutes of cardio. I lost about 4 pounds in  the first week. And I did notice toning in my shoulders/arms/back/butt My current weight loss though has been due to my illness though I am using it as a stepping stone and hopefully I can keep up now that I am feeling better.
