Making a change....

When I went shopping today I stayed clear of the pre-packaged snacks and soda and instead bought fruits,nuts and yogurt. I have also teamed up with a fellow employee and at lunch time or break time we help each other stick to our new eating habits and have also cut out our daily trip to Starbucks. I think with my friends and this thread I am really going to stick to my healthy eating plan and workouts!

  • Good for you! It's a lot easier when you have someone to do it with. 
  • Good call! I avoid the center aisles of the grocery as much as possible, shopping for things that are fresh and have as few ingredients as possible. It works pretty well I think! If you do want to indulge in starbucks from time to time, go for americanos, drip coffee, light fraps... The nutrition is online, and there are some decent options. Good luck!
  • yeah starbucks has a new drink menu online called "20 drinks under 200 cals" -- I normally opt for the venti unsweetened black iced tea w/two lemon packets b/c its 0 cals & 0 fat! :)http://www.starbucks.com/retail/choices.pdf
