Hi ladies, I'm gonna AW it up real quick....
My parents and my MOH were in town this weekend and we got a ton of stuff done. First up, dress shopping. We found my dress in only 2 1/2 hours. Thanks Circle Park Bridal!!!
So, it's technically a bridesmaid dress. I got it in ivory. We are going to remove the flowers and streamer, and add an ivory lace sash for the ceremony and a blue sparkly sash for the reception. I'm really short, so the dress is way too long for me, so we are going to hem it only in the front so that it forms a sweep train. I didn't even know it was actually a bridesmaid dress until I got it home. It was everything I wanted in a dress at an unbelieveable price!
Since we had that done before lunch, we went to look at bridesmaid dresses in the afternoon. I'm using DB, because my girls are scattered all over the country. I picked a color (Horizon) and I'm letting the girls pick their own short dress in that color. MOH found one she liked, so she's all set.
Since we were on a roll, Sunday me, my parents, FI, and his mom went to the outlet mall in Allen. We happened upon an awesome sale and he ended up getting his suit, shirt, tie, and shoes. He looked super sharp with the whole outfit on. Plus we got coordinating ties for his groomsmen.
Also, my mom got her dress, and we got blue umbrellas for a gift for the WP. I decided to make umbrellas part of the gift so that way, it won't rain on our wedding day
Or at least if it does, we can take cute pictures with matching umbrellas.
So, that's it. Pretty good for 2 days. Oh, and my StD's are supposed to arrive tomorrow from Vistaprint. Anyway, sorry so long. I miss you guys now that you're all blocked at my work. I know I've never been the most frequent poster, but I used to be a daily lurker, at least.
