Getting in Shape

Hey!  I noticed you said something about Ballet in the morning workout accountability post.  I used to dance for years...what type of ballet workout are you doing?

  • Nothing too fancy.  Its just a high level beginner class.  Start on the barre then floor.  Its been 7 years since my last ballet class............i forgot how tough it could be.  I do it at lunch time on Tuesdays and Hip Hop on Wednesday evenings.
  • :butting in: I miss dance so much! I have just started taking some zumba and "group groove" at my gym but it's not the same at all. I haven't taken classes since I was 18 but I was on the dance team at my college for 4 years. I was thinking of going back and taking classes at the local studio but they're so much more expensive than the gym. Good for you for going back, I hope you really enjoy it!
  • I really am enjoying it.  It definitely tough to go back after the time away.  At the studio I'm going to, it was $150 for the session from July thru the end of August.  I think it turned out to about 13/class
