NGISR Work Question

Hello All,Well I recently switched jobs, thinking it would be a better oppurtunity, about 3 months ago (a little more).  Well, this is the worst job I have ever had in my life, I have had more training in waitressing jobs, and work in the financial industry, so thats pretty bad.Anyways, I have an interview tomorrow am.  What should my explanation be for leaving so quickly from this job?  While I don't want to bash the company (obviously), I don't want to seem like a job floater.Any thoughts/advise?

Re: NGISR Work Question

  • Just be honest and say that although you thought at the time you would like it, the job simply was not for you.  Don't make it a reflection on the company, but rather that it just wasn't suited for you personally.  I had to explain in my most recent job interview why I quit veterinary school after only 2 weeks of classes, and they still hired me :)  GL at the interview!!
  • say you were looking for something more challenging where you can properly utlize your skillset?
  • whatever you do, don't bash your boss, coworkers or the company itself. just say something to the effect of "It's not a good fit and I feel as if my skills are not being utilized and I would really like to find a job that challenges me and allows me to use the skills I have to the best of my ability"
