Doing cardio: OK to do almost every day?

I know that with weight lifting and strength training, it's advised to only do that every other day, so you give your muscles a chance to rest and recover, because doing it every day can cause injury. But is there a reason why you shouldn't do cardio every day? The only reason i'm asking, is because every time I start eating right and exercising (before I fall off the wagon again, of course, but not this time!) I find myself ending up either at the gym on an elliptical, or on a stationary bike at home almost every day. I get SO ADDICTED to the feeling of doing cardio! I hate dragging my butt to do it sometimes, but once I get going I love it.

I usually will go for anywhere from 30-45 minutes, but sometimes I'll do it for an hour. I never push myself to the point where I'm feeling weak or disoriented, I always drink a lot of water before, during, and after (usually about 3/4 of a liter throughout), and if I start feeling bad I will stop. But i'm still about 5-6 times a week doing this, and usually work up quite a sweat in the meantime. Is that okay?
