Yay for Friday!  I slept like a log last night thanks to my kick arse workout and cooler temperatures.

B: 1.5 whole wheat english muffins w/ olive oil margarine and natural PB, coffee w/ skim milk
S: 1/2 of my pecan/almond/craisin mix
L: TBD
S: the other 1/2 of my pecan/almond/craisin mix
D: sliders and bbq'd corn on the cob

E: triceps and biceps (aka, thinset removal from grout lines)

  • So after all that shopping drama, I found a dress AND shoes in less than an hour. I swear that must be a new world record. Whew!
    B: oatmeal w/blueberries, coffee & soy milk
    S: carrots & pineapple
    L: cold noodle tuna salad w/peas
    D: TBD... grilled chicken w/ mandarin & almond salad (if FI doesn't veto it as soon as I get home)

  • Raynes, I love that you eat margarine and peanut butter on your english muffins, cuz I do too, and FI always looks at me like I'm crazy when I do that!

    B: PB banana smoothie w/1 scoop chocolate protein powder
    S: Laughing Cow wedge (garlic & herb) w/six crackers
    L: Ready Pac cranberry & walnut salad with feta, chicken and raspberry vinaigrette. A peach on the side, and sf Jell-O cup for dessert.
    S: Luna Bar (caramel nut brownie) or an apple w/string cheese if I get off work early today
    D: Leftovers from last night - Baja Citrus marinated chicken breast, rice pilaf and a side salad.

    E: 25 minutes HIIT on the elliptical, 30 minutes weight training (legs, butt & abs)

    Well, if I'm eating normal everyday PB then I usually skip the margarine, but with the natrual PB (peanuts only) it reallllly needs it.

    H loves margarine/butter and PB on english muffins.  So gooey and drippy and yummy.

  • Back to daily accountability. Unfortunately Friday mornings are my "cheat" meals so this doesn't look all that great.
    B: Venti skim chai, 1 Krispy Kreme donut (way too much sugar, but it's just once a week and after my trainer session yesterday and a dinner of steamed kale, tomatos and asparagus, I needed it)
    S: Carrots w/hommus
    L: Chop't spinach salad w/broccoli, bell peppers, black beans, and green beans w/red wine vinaigrette
    S: Pistachios & dried mango slices
    D: TBD
    E: Rest day

  • Finally the weekend! Fi and I are taking a much needed trip out to Hershey PA tonight til Sunday to celebrate his bday/ our 2 year anniversary/our 1 year engagement anniversary. Going on some rollercoasters tomorrow!!

    B - blueberry chobani w. 1/4 cup multigrain cheerios mixed in
    S - 2 clementines
    L - oatmeal raisin luna bar
    S - carrots and hummus
    D - steak off the grill with grilled potato and brocolli/cheddar side

    E - 30 minutes elliptical on my lunch.

  • Hooray for Friday!!

    B: wheat english muffin w/ PB and sf jam, coffee
    S: protein shake
    L: Greek garbanzo salad, apple
    S: greek yogurt w/ strawberries
    D: eeek, happy hour and SATC 2 w/ the girls, so it's my cheat meal for the week. 2 glasses pinot grigio, chips and salsa and side salad.

    E: run 3-4 miles, Ab Ripper

  • yay for friday!  this week felt like 6 days, not 4.  also, i got a haircut yesterday and i hate it - waaaay too short.

    b - kashi vanilla oatmeal
    l - chicken sandwich, veggies
    s - apple, string cheese
    s - greek yogurt (if i'm still hungry)
    d - tilapia, shrimp and veggie stir fry, maybe a tinsy bit of the husband's white rice
    s - tbd - depends on what decide to do for date night.

    e - 3 mile run this morning.  it was mad hot at 8:30am.  yuck.

    Today my sister flies in from Mass for my bachelorette party tomorrow!!!

    B- Coffee w/ ff creamer...not feeling good so im skipping bfast =(
    L- english muffin with egg beaters and lf cheese
    D- TBD...going out....either middle eastern food or a salad with ahi tuna ( depends on where we go)
    S- sf pudding with whipped cream

    l- something out with FI after we get out marriage licence!
    s- greek yogurt with honey
    d- grillled chicken breast skewers, greek salad, hummus, pita

    e- 1 hour circuit class at gym, cleaning the house!

    L - leftover cornmeal crusted baked tofu, coleslaw, couscous salad with apricots and pistachios

    D - mashed yuca stuffed tortillas with guacamole

    E - 2 mile run, squats, maybe ab work
