  • Mrs. Z - it takes about 2 weeks for the new SS card to arrive. You have to go there first before you can go to the DMV. You don't need the card, just have to have gone to the office to change it.

    I'm so sick of our plumbing issues & ready for them to be done. Our sink is almost constantly backed up with grimy water. Yesterday, it was filled with water, so I had no place to put the colander for straining pasta. I ended up pouring boiling water & oil on my hand. It's not too bad today, but it still burns like a fresh sunburn. :(

  • Morning!  Good luck with the interview!  Ahhh... name changing.  I'm still barely half done with all of that.  Oh well.  Favorite-I hear ya on the house stuff.  We will be painting the basement floor tonight.  It was awesome spending $1000 to have them rip out the finished basement because it got flooded and apparently had mildew/mold everywhere inside the walls.

    D: Some sort of veggies from the CSA? and chicken strips? (3) -can you tell I haven't been grocery shopping in a really long time?  At least we always have fresh veggies thanks to the CSA.

  • Hi!  I'm new to the board, and new to WW!  I'm Ev from Philadelphia, and I'm looking to lose about 20 pounds before the big day!  I'd love to join in, because my biggest challenge is staying motivated.  Hopefully you girls can help me with that!

    Anyway, here is my journal for the day:
    Breakfast: 1 cup Kashi GoLean cereal (2 pts)
    1/2 cup 1% milk (1 pt)
    Snack:  Banana (2 pts)
    Lunch:  Light and fit yogurt (2 pts)
    3 cups strawberries (2 pts)
    Dinner:  Going out for Chinese food.  I think I am going to go with a mixed veggie dish, or maybe chicken and broccoli.  Low point suggestions are welcome though!

  • thanks everyone for your support....I got the job!

    And believe it or not, I had a 2nd job offer from the local district that laid me off in June only 2 jours after I accepted the first. lol. I think I need to be pinched. Smile

  • Happy tuesday everyone! I'm so stoked! In 40 days going on a getaway vacation to Gatlinburg with my FI. Hope everyone's week is going well!
