Monday Accountability

Ow.  I hurt today.  I was at the gym for nearly 2 hours yesterday (120s of rest time between sets, 4 sets of each exercise, with 7 exercises = a LONG time) and now I hurt.  Stupid being female and having quad-dominance.  My hamstrings are killing me today.

B: Greek yogurt w/ honey, Fibre 1 cereal and craisins, coffee w/ skim milk
S: apple and alonds
L: salad bar
S: red bell pepper and hummus
D: TBD.  most likey meat and veggies on the BBQ

E: rest day.

  • B: raspberry Chobani with 1/4 cup Bare Naked granola, and coffee w/ff creamer and splenda
    S: jalapeno white cheddar air-popped popcorn
    L: homemade tuna salad on a bagel thin, a peach and a sugar-free Jell-O cup
    S: white chocolate macadamia nut Luna bar
    D: baked boneless skinless chicken breast (4oz), pasta w/pesto sauce & parmesan cheese, salad w/feta and light Italian dressing.
    S: either a sugar-free jell-o pudding cup or a WW ice cream cup

    E: 30 minutes HIIT on the elliptical, 30 minutes weight training (arms, back & abs)

  • OOOH, this is good, I just started here and I need some accountability! 

    B- light yogurt, 1/2 cup low fat granola, blueberries

    L-wild rice soup, triscuits, laughing cow light cheese
    S- skinny cow mini ice cream
    D- TBD

    E- Walking hills on the treadmill for 120 minutes.  Push-ups.

    d- salad, shredded chicken burrito. Whole grain tortilla, chicken breast, low sodium taco seasoning, red peppers, purple onion, spinach, and some reduced fat cheese.

    e- we might be looking at apts. tonight, so an off day. If we aren't, I'll do 60 mins elliptical and then 20 mins weights.

  • Happy first day of summer everyone! Wish I could be outside and not in my windowless corner of the office...

    B - raisin/date/walnut instant oatmeal
    S - 2 clementines
    L - sliced chicken breast wrapped in lettuce leaves with cucumber, tomato and green pepper slices, .5 tsp of mustard on each (made 2 to split up the 1 serving of chicken), polly-o string cheese
    S - carrots w/ roasted red pepper hummus
    D- grilled chicken sandwich with fresh mozzarella, tomato and lettuce, possibly some leftover pasta salad (for fi) or brown rice (for me) with grilled veggie mix

    E - 35 minutes on elliptical with hand weights, then massive cleaning of our house - it has exploded with Bed Bath and Beyond items from our shower Saturday haha

  • I need to become more accountable. Especially after being sick this weekend and also going to a grad party, and Dad dinner yesterday. Ugh!

  • Oh monday, you are here already? My food choices sucked this weekend, but workout wise was pretty good, so maybe they will even each other out. I was too afraid to actually log my food. YIKES.

    Good Afternoon!

    B - english muffin with 1/2 c. cottage cheese sprinkled w/ blueberries. Coffee w/ ff cream
    L- Hummous and tabouli on rolled pita
    D- out to eat...probably a salad and 1 pc bread and for my meal some sort of fish with a side of broccoli. No wine probably...i have heartburn =(

    L: Spicy chicken breast w/onions and peppers.
    S: Protein shake + raspberries.
    D: Egg whites scrambled with onions/tomatoes. Steamed broccoli.
    S: Not sure what this snack will be.

    E: Cardio (45 min) + weights.

  • I stayed up late watching True Blood and Treme, so even though I set my alarm, I must have turned it off in my sleep. Thankfully I woke up only 20 minutes late!
