Getting in Shape

Any Suggestions?!

I am getting very frustrated! I am trying to loose those last few, or 5 pounds and have 49 days until the Big Day! No matter what I do they just keep hanging on. Any suggestions? I really want to flatted my stomach a bit, but nothing seems to be working. Ugghhh! Help!!

  • How often are you working out? I would say up your cardio. Congrats on only having to lose 5 pounds, that isn't too much :)  I would also say cut out all fast food until your wedding and really watch your alcohol intake.
  • I would also recommend changing up your workouts and cutting down on breads, that always seems to be helpful.

  • Are you tracking calories?  If not, I would recommend that for starters.  Try to cut out as much sugar and other simple starches as possible (white bread, white rice, potatoes, etc.) and be very conscious of your sodium intake.  Focus on eating lean proteins (low sodium), lowfat milk and milk products (cheese, yogurt, etc.).  Try drinking water as much as possible (light on any other beverages).  Hopefully by eating cleanly and keeping track of what you eat, you'll lose that last 5.
